Turning Conflict into Healing & Defense into Presence using the Enneagram and the PDP Model

About This Group

Relationships sit at the center of human life—yet even our closest bonds can become sites of misunderstanding, hurt, and disconnection. Differences in temperament, attachment, personality, or lived experience can lead to conflict that feels “irreconcilable.” But beneath every defense is a story, and behind every rupture is a longing to belong.

This group brings together the deep wisdom of the Enneagram and Dan Siegel’s Presence-Based Development (PDP) Model, offering a clear map for understanding relational patterns, emotional defenses, unmet needs, and the pathways toward healing.

Facilitated by Tracy Baker-Lawrence, Relationship & Personality Psychologist, and Suzanne Dion, Enneagram educator and coauthor of The Enneagram, Relationships & Intimacy, these sessions help practitioners, couples, and individuals understand how conflict arises—and how to transform it into connection, repair, and intimacy.

Through the combined lenses of personality structure, neurobiology, defense patterns, and developmental needs, participants learn how to shift from reactivity to presence—first within themselves, and then within relationships.

What You’ll Experience

Each session offers a safe, attuned environment where learning is relational, experiential, and grounded in both cutting-edge science and timeless wisdom. Tracy and Suzanne blend guided teaching with open dialogue, inviting participants to bring real relational questions, case material, and lived experience into a shared learning space focused on depth, connection, and practical integration.
