About My Work

I’m a transformational educator and Enneagram teacher devoted to helping people—and the practitioners who guide them—live their TRUTH and serve the betterment of humankind. Through the Dr. Mary LLC umbrella, I’ve helped create pathways like the Method of Transformation™ (MOT®), The Attuned Parent Project (TAPP), and Enneagram Collaborative Global (ECG) to deepen self-awareness, restore wholeness across body, mind, and spirit, and translate insight into lived change. My work begins with honest conversation, a shared calling, and the right collaborators—building spaces where individuals awaken, practitioners elevate their craft, and purpose becomes embodied in everyday life.

Across all three brands, my intention is the same: to make the Enneagram more than knowledge—an applied path of integration that strengthens relationships, clarifies leadership, and supports healing in families, communities, and the world. Whether I’m coaching, teaching, training, or convening practitioners, I’m always inviting one simple return—back to what is most true, so you can live as you were created to be.

What I Offer

MOT Certification Training

The MOT Certification program is a one-year, master’s-level training for those called to guide others through deep personal and spiritual growth. You’ll become fully equipped to lead clients through the MOT® process, integrating the Enneagram, Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry®, and Dan Siegel’s Interpersonal Neurobiology into a turnkey framework for healing unconscious patterns and living with clarity and purpose.

Small Group Transformation Coaching

This 8-session small group journey (limited to six participants) uses compassionate, Enneagram-informed inquiry to help you uncover your Purpose as it connects to the larger narrative of Creation—held in a space of shared reflection, deep listening, and sacred witnessing.

Individualized Transformation Coaching

A sacred, Enneagram-informed 1:1 transformation journey that uncovers unconscious patterns and and brings you into deeper alignment. Over eight sessions, we work together to integrate insight through guided reflection so you can live with greater clarity, freedom, and intention.

Speaking Engagements

I enjoy speaking engagements and podcast conversations that explore the deeper patterns of human development, transformation, and connection. Drawing from the Enneagram, developmental psychology, spirituality, and neuroscience, I offer practical, trauma-informed insights that help individuals, parents, and leaders understand themselves and others more clearly. My work invites audiences to awaken to the unconscious patterns shaping their lives and to cultivate greater awareness, attunement, and purpose in how they live, lead, and relate.

The Attuned Parent Project (TAPP)

An experiential, informational, and inspirational program that teaches parents how to become integrated and attuned to themselves and their child(ren) to support optimal development and a lifelong bond. By cultivating the kind of environment children need to thrive, TAPP aims to reduce suffering over a lifetime—starting in the earliest relationships.

Enneagram Collaborative Global (ECG)

The Enneagram Collaborative Global (ECG) is a global community for Enneagram-informed practitioners who want to deepen their craft, grow their practice, and expand their impact. Through trusted teaching, facilitated Subject Matter Expert (SME) groups, and feedback circles, ECG helps you move beyond the “what” into the practical “how” of applying the Enneagram in real life.

The Unwritten Chapter

The Unwritten Chapter is a small group transformation journey for women standing in the space between what has ended and what has not yet begun. Guided by MOT® founder Dr. Mary Filice, this intimate circle offers a sacred container to honor loss and change, listen beneath the noise of urgency, and reconnect with your inner authority. Through the Method of Transformation®, you’ll gently explore the narratives that shaped you and begin writing your next chapter from presence, wholeness, and alignment. This is not about rushing clarity. It’s about becoming the woman who can meet what’s next with intention, courage, and grace. Should I leave Kim out?? She may not be a constant.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT CONSULTING

A collaborative, consilience-based approach to designing new programs for targeted populations. I work alongside subject-matter experts to integrate diverse perspectives, methodologies, and talents into cohesive, purpose-driven offerings. By bringing together people, resources, and vision, I help transform expertise into well-structured programs that are grounded, scalable, and aligned with the deeper story they are meant to serve.

About Dr. Mary

Mary Filice, PhD

Dr. Mary Filice is a transformational educator, philosophical and spiritual coach, and the developer of the Method of Transformation™ (MOT™)—a multidimensional framework for personal and professional growth that brings together psychology, spiritual formation, the Enneagram, trauma-informed practice, and the science of integration.

Mary’s work is grounded in a lived turning point. After excelling in a traditional path—graduating top of her class and stepping into an accounting career—she found herself, at 24, unable to get out of bed in pain. That crisis became the beginning of an inward journey and an inquiry: What does it mean to be fully human?

Drawn by that question, she moved from the business world into academic study, earning a Ph.D. in Philosophy, earning a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in Systematic Theology and Human Development. Over the past two decades, her research, teaching, and coaching have focused on the inner conditions that make transformation possible—less willpower and perfection, more honesty, humility, willingness, and surrender.

Introduced to the Enneagram a decade ago, Mary describes it as a “homecoming”—a mirror and a map that reveals the masks we wear, the coping patterns we rely on, and the True Self waiting underneath. Today she integrates Enneagram wisdom with Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry™ and Dr. Dan Siegel’s Interpersonal Neurobiology (through ongoing study with the Mindsight Institute) to help clients heal unconscious patterns, reconnect with inner wisdom, and live aligned with purpose.

Mary is also a co-founder of Enneagram Collaborative Global (ECG), an international community supporting practitioners in elevating their effectiveness, and co-founder of The Attuned Parent Project (TAPP), an educational initiative focused on attunement, optimal child development, and lifelong parent-child bonds. Whether in 1:1 journeys, small groups, or certification training, Mary is known for holding sacred space, asking the right questions, and guiding people back to what is most true.
