Working with Trauma while tending to the nervous system of the healer.

About This Group

This group is designed for counselors and coaches seeking to integrate the Enneagram into trauma work without bypassing the nervous system. Rooted in the Trauma Before Type framework, it explores how survival strategies can masquerade as personality structure — and why stabilization must precede typology. Facilitated by trauma therapist Sharon Ball, topics include pacing trauma processing, recognizing state vs. structure, managing countertransference, and distinguishing trauma-adapted patterns from core type expression, alongside clinician regulation and professional longevity.

What You’ll Experience

A collaborative learning space where participants bring real client questions, challenges, and reflections to explore together. Through the Trauma Before Type lens, the group examines how trauma responses and personality structures interact, while developing practical tools for discernment, nervous system awareness, and safe, effective integration in therapeutic work.
