Rev. Clare Loughrige is a Spiritual Director, author of Motions of the Soul, and coauthor of the InterVarsity Press bestseller Spiritual Rhythms for the Enneagram: A Harmony Triad Approach. As the co-founding lead pastor of Crossroads Church and Ministries (est. 1991), she has spent more than three decades guiding individuals and communities toward a vibrant, justice-oriented faith grounded in contemplation and compassionate action.
An IEA Accredited Professional with decades of study under master teachers, Clare is the creator of the accredited ©iEnneagram Training Program and founder of Crossroads Soul Resources School of Spiritual Direction, offering a Trinitarian, trauma-informed Harmony curriculum that certifies Spiritual Directors. Through retreats, cohorts, and online courses, she equips helpers and seekers to move beyond personality labels into transformative practice integrating head, heart, and body.
Her work extends beyond the classroom and sanctuary. Clare has served on boards focused on combating human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault—believing that sustainable justice flows from interior transformation. Whether preaching, facilitating trauma-informed listening circles, mentoring emerging leaders, or teaching the Motions of the Soul, Clare invites people to discover the interior freedom that fuels courageous service in the world.
Clare’s ministry is rooted in relationship with her husband Scott, their family, and a community of chosen kin—practicing presence in the everyday rhythm of attending, aligning, and acting. Her joy is watching individuals, teams, and congregations awaken to their God-given design and collaborate for the flourishing of all.
