Dion, Suzanne

Enneagram Teacher, Author, and Coach

About My Work

My work supports deep, lasting transformation through trauma-aware, presence-based coaching with individuals, couples, and families. Grounded in the Enneagram of Personality, I help people understand the emotional patterns and adaptive strategies that shape how they relate to themselves and others, fostering greater self-regulation, compassion, and authenticity.
Beyond private coaching, I teach the Enneagram to coaches and practitioners, offer specialized Enneagram-typing consultations, and consult with organizations cultivating relational intelligence and conscious leadership. I am a co-founder of The Attuned Parent Project (TAPP), supporting new parents in developing self-understanding as the foundation for emotionally attuned parenting. I serve as faculty and Enneagram Consultant to Deep Coaching Institute and as Creative Consultant to Marion Gilbert’s Somatic Enneagram and Harmony Treatment Centers.

I remain committed to extending applications of the Enneagram to marginalized communities through my Self-Recovery Project, much inspired by my years an original founding board member for the Enneagram Prison Project (EPP).

Across all contexts, my intention is the same: restoring dignity, agency, and deeper human connection through insight, compassion, and embodied transformation.

What I Offer
Coaching
Enneagram-based, trauma-informed transformational coaching for individuals, couples, and families. This work explores emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and adaptive strategies that shape lived experience. Certification as a Relational Abuse Recovery Coach informs specialized support for relational healing.
Enneagram Self-Discovery Interviews
In-depth Enneagram Self-Discovery Interviews utilizing a specialized typing protocol I developed and refined over many years, and taught to other practitioners for professional application.
Teaching
Instruction in the Enneagram of Personality, the Enneagram for Parenting, the Enneagram for Self-Recovery, and Trauma-Awareness for Coaches, integrating psychological insight with practical and relational application.
Communications Design
Graphic and web design, multimedia art and production, writing, and editorial work devoted to expressing the heart of a message with clarity and resonance. Projects include logos, tag lines, and branding to multimedia, communicative artwork and diagrams, and other cohesive design elements, each thoughtfully crafted to reflect an authentic vision, integrate aesthetic and meaning, and create materials that are visually compelling, relationally attuned, and aligned with the intended audience.
Book
I co-authored The Enneagram, Relationships, and Intimacy with David Daniels, MD — an exploration of how Enneagram personality patterns influence attachment, intimacy, and relational growth.

About Dion, Suzanne

Dion, Suzanne
Suzanne is co-author of the book, The Enneagram, Relationships, and Intimacy: Understanding One Another Leads to Loving Better and Living More Fully with her mentor David Daniels, M.D., a book that marries the wisdom of the Enneagram and David Daniels’ years of experience with Dr. Dan Siegel’s Mindful Awareness, attachment research, and interpersonal neurobiology. Her focus, as she carries David’s compassionate approach forward, is the bettering of human relationships through intrapersonal healing first, followed by the development of cognitive-emotional-somatic capacity and emotional literacy, defense system relaxation, and deepening intimacy — with both self and other.
Now a teacher, coach, and educator of the Enneagram system for personal and professional self-awareness, Suzanne is Enneagram Consultant to the Deep Coaching Institute, Creative Director for Marion Gilbert’s Somatic Enneagram training association, and one of the founders of newly formed T.A.P.P., The Attuned Parent Program, whose mission it is to raise the self-awareness and developmental well-being of those very important humans raising society’s next generations.
Suzanne completed her teacher certification with the Palmer-Daniels Enneagram Professional Training School, now called The Narrative Enneagram (TNE), in 2008, completed the Advanced Coaching 2.0 program with The Enneagram in Business, designed by Ginger Lapid-Bodga, and is currently training with Life-centered Therapy, designed and developed by Dr. Andy Hahn.

Suzanne was one of the founding board members of the Enneagram Prison Project (EPP) and spent several years developing course curriculum and teaching a trauma-informed, addictions-informed Enneagram to both incarcerated men and women in Northern California jails and San Quentin State Prison.

Suzanne is an Enneagram-informed transformational coach that works with individuals, couples, teens, and families.
